News: Xbox One Will Support Xbox 360 Headsets

Albert Penello of the Xbox One team at Microsoft confirmed on Twitter (July 30, 2013) that an adapter will be made available for individuals who wish to use their existing headset with their Xbox One.  Seeing as the Xbox One does not have an included headset at this time, this is great news for anyone looking to save money by reusing their existing accessory.  The adapter will not be included with the Xbox One and will be sold as a separate accessory.  A price has not been announced for the adapter; however you can pre-order the Xbox One headset for $24.99.  The headset is slated to launch November 27, 2013 and, hopefully, we will see the adapter launch around the same time.

  1. Five bucks says the adapter breaks the headset faster/easier.

    1. I'm hoping the accessory will not impact the already fragile Xbox 360 headset in a negative way. Only time will tell!

  2. I found this is an informative and interesting post so i think so it is very useful and knowledgeable. I would like to thank you for the efforts you have made in writing this article. Peerapat Somchai
